DocFlow
Workflow and Business Process Management
Automate Business Processes Connect Multiple Workflows Enhance Document
Collaboration
Workflow and Business Process Management are increasingly becoming
essential tools for enhancing workplace efficiency and automating common
work procedures.
Saperion’s DocFlow offers a significant enhancement to the Event Workflow
engine. Its features allow the graphical modeling of business processes,
and automate common tasks such as Application Approvals, Expense reimbursements,
Travel Requests, and others.
DocFlow was designed to be user friendly and easy to use. It has several
built-in features that many businesses need when modeling business
processes - This keeps the system simple to use yet functionally powerful.
Further advantages include the ease of customization and simple integration
into already existing software applications.
Process Designer
The DocFlow Process Designer is an integrated graphical tool within
SAPERION® that provides you with a user-friendly tool for creating
and modeling business workflows. You can assign attributes for each
process node element, e.g. Start, Approve, Review and others.
Intuitive controls
- No
programming required
- Predefined objects
- Expandable
libraries
- Integration
into the SAPERION® user interface.
The DocFlow option enables you through the use of a graphical Process
Designer, to define work procedures for document-based business processes.
DocFlow Standard functions are based on typical applications found
in the office environment. These include: initiating, releasing, approving,
forwarding of documents, and automatic reminders of tasks to be done.
Since DocFlow is fully integrated within Saperion, the users continue
working within the familiar Saperion user interface. Authorized users
can assign a document to the created DocFlow process and initiate the
process. This document becomes part of the process, and is forwarded
to the DocFlow inbox of another user.
This other user can then open and edit the document and, if he or
she has the necessary rights. When the task completed, the document
is transferred back to the DocFlow process, which then forwards the
document to the next user until it reaches the end of the process.
Standard DocFlow Functions
